Der Prozess der Versorgung mit einer Zahnbrücke beginnt mit der Vorbereitung der Zähne, die sich neben der Lücke der fehlenden Zähne befinden. Diese Zähne werden als Pfeilerzähne bezeichnet und so geformt, dass sie die festsitzende Zahnbrücke sicher tragen können.
Anschließend werden Abdrücke genommen, um die Zahnbrücke präzise anzufertigen. Die speziell hergestellte Brücke besteht aus künstlichen Zähnen, die durch Zahnkronen gehalten werden, und wird in einem professionellen Dentallabor gefertigt. Dabei werden Farbe, Form und Größe exakt an Ihre natürlichen Zähne angepasst. Nach der Fertigstellung wird die Zahnbrücke fest auf den Zähnen zementiert, um die Funktionen des Kauens, Sprechens und Lächelns wieder vollständig herzustellen.
